Com 'God is a Woman', Ariana Grande recria Santa Ceia só com mulheres

No Video Music Awards da MTV, cantora levou a mãe, a avó e a tia para a performance

Ariana Grande subiu ao palco no Radio City Music Hall de Nova York nesta segunda, 20, para apresentar God is a Woman (Deus é uma mulher), do álbum recém lançado Sweetener, durante a cerimônia de apresentação do Video Music Awards, da MTV. God is a Woman é a terceira faixa do novo projeto.

Em abril, a cantora lançou No tears left to cry. Em junho, ela divulgou The light is coming, parceria com a rapper Nicki Minaj. Sweetener chega ao mercado dois anos depois do lançamento do último álbum, Dangerous Woman (2016), que conquistou as paradas de sucesso com singles como Side to side e Into you. 

No VMA 2018, colocando um elenco inteiramente feminino, Ariana Grande recriou a famosa cena da obra-prima masculina A Última Ceia, de Leonardo Da Vinci. Veja a performance:

  Ariana também levou ao palco as mulheres mais importantes da vida dela: a mãe e a avó, a 'Nonna' Marjorie. A canção God is a Woman é a favorita da avó da estrela. E a mãe da cantora, Joan Grande, apoia a teoria da filha e acredita que Deus é uma mulher, como publicou na página oficial no Twitter. god IS a Woman!!
